All About Statements
Generating Your Statements
Join us as we guide you through the seamless process of generating statements using the powerful Generate Wizard tool. This tool can significantly simplify your statement experience. Here are some key reminders and additional information to keep in mind:
Invoicing:
All invoices due within the month will be included in the monthly statement, regardless of their status (new, in prod, complete, hold, etc.). This means it is based on the due date, not the completed or shipped date.
Previous Balance:
For the first month only, enter the previous balance in the table for each client after generating their monthly statements. Remember to click on the "Save" button in the upper left-hand corner. For subsequent statements, the previous balance will be automatically calculated.
Print & Emailing Your Statements
Print or email all your statements at once. Simply navigate to Billing > Statements > Print/Email at the top left. Make sure to fill out your Clients Email before attempting to email your statements. You can do this by going to Clients > Accounts > & Select & Edit a Client. Scroll Down Until you see the section Email (Billing). There you can enter multiple emails as long as you separate them by a comma.
We also have a variety of print settings found under Settings > Advanced Settings > Print Settings. This way you can customize any footers or printing options you may need. If you are having any trouble printing let us know and we will be happy to assist you!
Understanding Your Statements
Explore how to navigate and understand all the features on the Statements page. The clear column layout makes it easy to comprehend your data at a glance. New features include options to delete all your statements when needed, as well as enhanced reporting tools.
Statements are Locked:
To make changes/add payments, adjustments, orders, etc. in a month you have already generated statements for, go ahead and unlock them. You can do this by going to Billing Statements > Select Month > & Click the Lock Icon next to the client(s) you are trying to make changes for.
